The New Addition!!

I saw this product online at the Native Instruments Website and WOW!!!

It blew me away….

I have been doing this with my MPC for years, but stopped because it just became loooong winded to get Hardware to work with the new software being made!!

And damn it has sooooo changed up how I produce!! it makes me feel free again!! (Hahahahahaha)

And Yo Chue!! Yep my bro S Chu I had to get him on it, and Brother I think you should testify!! Ha

But if your into music creation or anything related to beat making check it out, straight Google and Youtube it!!!

So just sitting here, knowing China  is not happening this Icelandic Ash thing has messed up the whole of EUROPE!!

So now we are not sure when this thing is gonna end so might still go….

Oh I hear you saying “Mikey why are you going China” and as my Doc said when I went to get my Jabs “What is a black man doing in China??” YES he was black too… LOL!!

Yep yep I was off today had not a chance to Blog as I was busy tidying up loose ends before leaving….

China is a lil research and development thing myself and Ken are doing for a piece set to hit you all 2011..

So it was a trip to Shaolin to make sure we got it right…. Just a lil something on that so stay tuned more to come.

BUT what a week, still working on the next BBE show – Over the Edge – Fresh new music coming from me, and new Choreo from Mr Sandy, plus A Nite with Da Brats, finishing their soundtracks and prepped for my Style Fest Workshop ” The Beat Clinic” and obviously the competition.

Big up everyone that come out yesterday was a great show and UK stand up the level was super high!!!

In between all of that had to try pack for 2 weeks in China and 1 in Japan, had a Workshop with Laurie Anderson, Madd inspiring and got me feeling young in this music thing again hungry for new knowledge and study.

During last year I did some work on Vertigo films Latest Movie, Street Dance 3D.

We had the Cast and Crew Viewing yesterday, and WOW!

Its a great movie I am not gonna add my personal review of the movie, I want people to go out and check it out…..

I got 6 tracks in it and probably one of the most Famous of my Street Dance Tracks Ethnic,

(Lots of people don’t know I made this!!)

It came to the Grand Finale which I produced, and they missed out the Snare from the whole piece!!

Ok….

So I was on the phone the other day with a Mate of mine (Mr Sandy) and we were talking about this new “genre” of music that seems to be getting into the Hiphop and RnB world…

Now he asked me what do you think it is, I said I don’t even know what to call it….
The Fact that this music is pretty much throw away music not classics like say Biggie “One More Chance”

He goes “I think its disrespect!” “Yeah thats the name.“Disrespect!!”

So I had to start this!

So….

I am siting down for the first time deciding what I should write for my first blog…?

Hmmm….

I think I need to say that I wish to make this a place of interest, into what interests me, and a source of info and a place where I can share..

I know that, that sounds all pie in the sky like but on a reals’ I want to start putting content to inspire and challenge all you music lovers and or creators.

I think for a long time I have stayed behind the secnes and not shown my true self and the bredth of what I do and what I wish to move forward with, I think this is unfair on me and also You the follower of Mikey J as you are not getting a true sense of all that gets or keeps me going in this “Music” Game.

I want to make you the Blog follower want to keep coming back and listening, seeing and feeling whats new in my world…

I am gonna do a lot of experimentation and I want you lot to join me…

Trust me I got some fun shizzle to put out there…

Anyhow the next blog will be me showing you something, cause its true I have been quiet whilst doing my work, I prefer to show….

And I am asked all the time so much that peeps want to know about my production,  listen to more of my work and get advice and or get into the game…
